 Shot In RAW CR2 Handheld, Outdoors, Overcast 12:09 pm Canon 400D, 1.6x Multiplier, 50mm 1.8 lens with 12 and 20mm Kenko Extension tubes attached. Effective focal length is 50 x 1.6 +12 +20 = 112mm's ISO 100 1/1000th sec @ f/3.5 White Balance set to "daylight" Opened RAW file in Adobe Lightroom 2 Beta, exported the file to Adobe Photoshop CS3. @ 25% viewing, cropped using the marquee tool, about 1 1/2 inches from the left side. Image> Adjustments> Levels > Channel RGB 3 - 1.16 - 223 Image> Adjustments> Brightness Contrast > Brightness 0 , Contrast +14 Image> Adjustments> Color Balance> Color Levels +14 +1 +3 midtones Image> Adjustments > Hue/Saturation> Reds +12 SaturationSized Image down for Web Layer>Duplicate Layer> Filter> Sharpen Eraser tool @ 100%, erased all sharpening on petals and out of focus yellow parts Eraser tool @ 30%, erased sharpening on in focus yellow parts and Lady Bug Flatten Image Total Post Processing Time = 5 minutesI know the process looks very long, it's really not  |
